The project is being developed within the Cognitive Robotics Group of the LIDIA using Logic Programming techniques for the implementation. The selected robotic kit for the development of the robots is Lego Mindstorms(TM). Our funding for equipment and travel expenses came from an ACM grant, offered to us by Dr. Elizabeth Sklar of Columbia University in New York, and from Universidad Nacional del Sur. Our team, the MateBots, participated in 2004 in the E-League of Robocup in Lisbon, Portugal, reaching second place (see http://cs.uns.edu.ar/~gis/robocup-TDP.htm). Currently, we are developing DeLP based programming to control the robots.
